Politics As Usual

I should point out that Aaron was trying to drum up support for an Advanced Civ game but since that wasn't panning out, we decided to play Politics As Usual, an entertaining card based strategy game. So the map of Europe, parts of Africa and Asia, was not actually part of the game. Anyway, this was a great game as it involved some strategic decisions along with interplayer politics and some tongue in cheek humor (gotta love that). Each player plays a politician with a unique "ability". I was Ross Perot and that suited me just fine. Favor tokens were nice as they allowed you to essentially bribe other players to help you out. In the end it comes down who has the most votes based on issues collected and other players favor tokens in your keep. All in all, this was a fun game with solid ratings to back it up. -- Dave
