Seven people braved through a slightly crowded downtown East Lansing for our last game date. I'm proud to say that this marks our 1 year anniversary of Lansing Board Gamers.

St. Petersberg

St. Petersberg is a relatively new game that involves purchasing different cards that represent your operations in the city. They include buildings, aristocrats, and production facilities, as well as upgrades. Rob taught us the rules and away we went. This game was neat and I enjoyed it, but it did require some planning ahead that made things a little tricky. I'd like to try it again sometime. -- Dave

Settlers of Catan

We played a game of the now classic Settlers of Catan. This was a close game and starting position was key. Aaron almost won a couple times but we managed to hold him off. John was pulling second and eventually got the 10 points needed to put the game away. -- Dave
